As Chairman and Founder of the Centre for Peace, Security, and Developmental Studies (CPSD), Habibullah brings academic rigor and policy insight into Pakistan’s development dialogue. CPSD is a non-partisan, multilingual think tank that has published significant research on water scarcity, energy security, and regional peacebuilding. Through CPSD, Habibullah actively engages with global diplomats, civil society, and policymakers to build a more secure and progressive Pakistan.

Habibullah Dadabhoy hails from one of Pakistan’s most prominent business families, whose entrepreneurial journey began shortly after independence in 1947. Deeply inspired by his grandfather’s patriotic efforts to support a nascent, struggling Pakistan, Habib carries forward the family legacy with renewed vision and innovation. A graduate of the University of Warwick (UK), he has expanded the group’s reach across emerging sectors — blending traditional values with a forward-thinking entrepreneurial mindset.

Transforming Media with DBTV
In December 2017, Habibullah launched Digital Broadcasting TV (DBTV) Pakistan’s first digital-only television channel. Recognizing a media vacuum among Pakistan’s youth, DBTV was created to offer fact-based, inclusive content across politics, economy, sports, entertainment, and culture. With a strong belief in data-driven journalism, DBTV has integrated AI-enabled tools for data cleansing, content mining, and fake news detection, setting a new standard for digital media in Pakistan.
