Seminar on Human Rights in Indian Occupied Kashmir

President Dr. Arif Alvi condemned India’s post-August 5 actions in Kashmir, terming them a grave humanitarian crisis, and called for global media engagement to expose ground realities.
George Galloway, British political leader, strongly criticized Indian occupation and declared the Kashmir issue a multilateral concern with global implications.
International speakers including Lord Duncan McNair, David Ward, Barrister Rashid Ahmed, and Marcus Thomlinson denounced human rights violations and pledged solidarity with Kashmiris.
Federal Minister Shehryar Afridi emphasized the need for a unified global response and highlighted Pakistan’s long-standing humanitarian commitments.
Najamuddin Shaikh, former Foreign Secretary, criticized the global community’s moral inconsistency in prioritizing economics over ethics.
CPSD leadership warned of the Kashmir conflict’s potential to destabilize regional and global peace and urged international pressure on India to demilitarize and allow a plebiscite.
